The snow is finally here! After almost a month of being in Singapore, I’m back in Toronto. Well, the flight back was not too painful as once again, I got my “Bea-class” – that, I shall talk about in a separate entry.
Now, let’s talk about the SNOW first. Back in December, over Christmas, the Mister and I were following the many weather updates about the snow but all we managed to catch was a teeny weeny glimpse of it and it was more of flurries than anything else.
While we were in Singapore, there was a bit of light snow here and there in Toronto, but we were not here for that. The Mister got back to Toronto first and according to him, it has been freezing cold but it was nothing close to what we saw this morning. It was cold outside when we got back from the airport.
Last night, I almost froze my bum off when I decided not to wear the “magic coat” the Mister had brought along when he picked me up at the airport, seeing as to how we were just going to be in the taxi on our way back. Walking from the taxi to our apartment’s entrance (approximately 10 steps away) was freezing enough.
We woke up this morning, looked out the window and couldn’t see anything much outside at all. And then, we realized it was actually snowing rather heavily! As daylight broke, this was what it looked like!
