Victoria Gables, Niagara on The Lake

    October 22, 2013

It wasn’t our first visit to Niagara on the Lake, nevertheless, we discovered yet another true haven in this lovely little town. Staying at Victoria Gables is like living in a classy, English style home, with a pleasant quaintness attached to it. Lovely décor throughout the place, makes some parts of our stay seem so surreal.

The peacefulness of the surroundings in the daytime varies from that of night time, nevertheless, be it day or night, the peacefulness and tranquillity of the place remains.

Owner of Victoria Gables, Kathy & Don never failed to cater to our needs. We did not have to ask for much as all we needed was already made available, tea, coffee, bottled water & also yummy cookies for a snack anytime!

The rooms were very nicely decorated with soothing colours & decor type. Breakfast was simply amazing, like a King’s! We were served each course at the table and we were very well fed! Kathy & Don ensured we had enough to eat throughout breakfast time., creating a very homely ambience, even while were on our lil getaway.

The little garden / backyard at the house was lusciously filled with fruits and vegetables apart from various interesting greenery. Kathy asked me to have a go at the Raspberries and I did just that – wasn’t disappointed at all, yummmm! Thanks Kathy!

We left with yummy cookies, specially made by Kathy. We can’t wait to go back already!
