Located about 2 hours away from Calgary, Banff National Park is filled with nature’s true beauty. Our usual 2 in 1 visit (the Mister’s Conference = our lil adventures) on Jun1st – 6th 2013 was yet another eye opener for myself.

We returned with heaps of photos, which explains the delay in this post apart from all other activities over the busy last few months. It was tough selecting which photos to include, nevertheless, I have selected some 🙂

Banff National Park is a huge park area with various accommodation places and it is definitely the place to be for those who want to be close to nature, be it flora or fauna. Of course, not forgetting the many ice caps, beautiful waterfalls, Bow River & Lake Louise.

We stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, an awesome beautiful castle with magnificent views. In fact, ‘beautiful’ is an under-rated word to use to describe Banff. Overall, the beauty of Banff National Park is just beyond words can explain! Magical, mesmerizing, magnificent, awesome, serene would be just to name a few and the list goes on and on and on….

Waking up to the magnificent view from our lil window each morning, I spent hours, staring & staring & staring and only keep realising god’s beautiful creation in awe and appreciation each day.

I was really in the hope of spotting some bears on our drives but to no avail! Regardless, the spotting of other wildlife made up for it somehow 🙂

Dear Banff, you will stay in our thoughts for quite some time now as we find calm and tranquillity just by looking back at the many photos we have captured.

Here are some selected photo highlights of Banff National Park.
