Badoque Café has been around for quite some time now. After my Badoque experience, I felt like I should’ve given this place a chance earlier! Well, I guess it’s better late than never. I’ve always heard people raving about the food at Badoque and have always put it on my list of places to eat at. So, finally on my last Singapore trip, I finally made a late lunch/ early dinner trip to Badoque Café, Bedok Road Outlet., with my Party of Five minus one. (If only you were around dearest Babysister!)

The menu presented at Badoque is slightly different from what you normally get from the formal menus at other cafes/ restaurants. To summarize, Badoque serves a fusion menu, of Asian and Western, with a touch of Mediterranean and also Steaks.  We decided to go for the Pasta dishes as all of us felt like Pasta. We also shared some appetizers amongst the 4 of us.

We had the Potato Wrapped Prawns, which were so yummy! My kind of food! I would highly recommend this as a starter! We also had the Garlic Chilli Chuka – yummy baby Octopus, lightly sautéed.

For mains, we had the Chicken Orange Salad, which was very refreshing, and definitely perfect for those warm days! This would even be a good dish to share for days when everyone feels like salad but not a huge one each as the portion is rather huge and value for money.

The Seafood Aglio Olio was very delicious, best I’ve ever had in Singapore, I must say! Badoque’s Spaghetti Meatballs is also another yummy dish which comes in a generous seving portion. Something suitable for anytime of the day, I would say!  Another dish we had was the Tomyam Pasta, I would say this is a very interesting fusion dish. It is quite rich with a coconut based broth but it has the tangy side of the flavor which tends to tone down the creamy flavor of the coconut sauce – yummy! I would recommend this dish to be shared as it can get overwhelming when eaten on its own, well, at least for me.

Overall, we had a nice, yummylicious experience at Badoque and we’ll definitely be back for the Steak and more!
